Day 249: Give 249

If you aren’t familiar with Kids Are Heroes you should be. I am thrilled I have been connected with them as each story I read about a child on their site inspires me to do more. They are truly changing the world by sharing stories of children all over the world that are doing remarkable things to support organizations and personal causes. You can’t help but to be touched and inspired. They have recently started a You Tube Video Challenge asking kids to send in their videos on how they are changing the world. These children touch my heart so much I wish I could do more. I am asking you to consider supporting the featured kids and Kids Are Heroes.

This kid has a brain tumour and he still gives back

Harry

The video featured today is of a young boy named Harry from Birmingham, England. Harry has an inoperable brain tumour. Harry isn’t raising money to help himself but is doing it in honour of a friend that passed away of the same terrible disease. Harry’s site is called Help Harry Help Others. The title speaks for itself and who Harry is as a human being. We should all be so selfless.

Harry is personally making bracelets and selling them to raise money for Cancer Help UK. Every dollar raised, every donation, every bracelet purchased will mean the world to Harry.

I believe we are all put on this earth to fulfil a mission. Harry is truly one of the angels that have been put on the planet to create great change and to help others. Maybe deep in all of hearts we could all be more like Harry.

Please take the time to watch Harry’s video and consider donating.

Time Commitment: 5 minutes

Cost: Donation $25.00 to Kids Are Heroes
