Happiness Research – How Happiness Really Works

Read the latest happiness research that outlines how happiness really works. When we are happy we have a psychological response that we can feel. Our happy hormone kicks in, our stress levels go down and we feel calmer.

But how can we activate this response? If you complete on small act of giving, or an act of kindness you will activate our happy hormones and feel better. Happiness Research shows us how this happens. The response is immediate and the gives can be really simple.

So what types of gives will make us happier? Send a note or text of gratitude to someone who has been kind to you. Help a classmate or colleague with a task they find challenging. Do an extra chore at home, just a small one, for your daily give. Use less water to give to the planet. Stop using single use plastic to give back to the planet and our communities.
