Today I was out making a quick trip to Riteaid when I saw a woman holding an infant. People gave her a wide berth and looked down when she tried to approach them. She didn't speak English, her face and hands dirty. I couldn't understand her words but you can't mistake the look in her eyes as a mother. I held up a finger to indicate that I would be right back. I bought her the same formula that I bought for my son. When I handed it to her she began to cry. I wish I could have done more. It wasn't so long ago I was in a really difficult place.
