Counselor Peters – December 2, 2019
Today our class made birthday cards for one of our school’s Custodians, sang him “Happy Birthday”, and wrote about how much we appreciate what he does to keep the school clean and safe. We called him up to the classroom to ask for his assistance and because he is always so helpful he came up quickly. Much to his surprise, the students and staff sang him “Happy Birthday” and each person gave him a handmade card and thanked him for all he did. When I saw him leaving the room I noticed he was tearful and touched by the gesture. The students felt very happy they had made his day!
