    I saw that the local restaurant was closed due to an employee testing positive with Covid. I was concerned about my high school class mate. I made a contact call to check on her.

    Reaching Out To An Old Friend

    My high school class mate lives pay check by pay check. She also is a high risk during this Covid Pandemic. We haven't kept in touch even though we live in the same town. This day we shared stories present and past. I had the opportunity to check in with her and inquire about her needs. Her employer gives her a meal at work and she is able to go to the food bank. Her health is good at this time. I feel better that I checked in with my friend.
