Thinking of Others

Today, we thought about others. Mom took extra time today to send a long update to her mom, including a special photo. She also checked in with a friend who lives where there was significant flooding.

Dad took time out of his Sunday to complete volunteer work at Clara's school. Also, as Mom took care of Clara and two friends today, once the friends left, Dad took Clara out for a short adventure to give Mom some time to herself. (Thanks, Dad!)

Clara, along with one of her friends, made a picture to send to her former, and favourite, teacher. She also brought home a lovely little flower for Mom after her adventure with Dad.

Exciting news: When we delivered the fruit crumble to our new neighbours yesterday, (surprise to us) we arrived about 1.5 hours after they had brought their baby into the world, a home birth. 🙂 We were so happy for the three of them!
